Description This role is for one of the Weekday's clients Salary range: Rs 2000000 - Rs 3500000 (ie INR 20-35 LPA) Min Experience: 10 years Location: Hyderabad JobType: full-time We are seeking a highly experienced AWS + Node.js Engineer to design, build, and scale cloud-native applications that are secure, resilient, and high-performing. This role is ideal for a senior professional with deep expertise in AWS and backend development using Node.js, who can take ownership of system architecture and drive end-to-end delivery of scalable solutions. You will play a critical role in developing modern distributed systems, leveraging AWS services to build robust APIs, microservices, and event-driven architectures. The position requires strong hands-on experience, along with the ability to guide architectural decisions, optimize cloud infrastructure, and ensure best practices across the development lifecycle. Requirements Key Responsibilities - Design and develop scalable backend applications using Node.js in a cloud-native workplace - Architect and implement solutions using AWS services such as EC2, Lambda, S3, API Gateway, RDS, DynamoDB, and more - Build and manage microservices and serverless architectures for high availability and performance - Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and ensure seamless system integrations - Optimize cloud infrastructure for cost, performance, and scalability - Implement security best practices, including authentication, authorization, and data protection - Collaborate with cross-functional teams including frontend, DevOps, and product teams - Drive CI/CD implementation and automation for faster and reliable deployments - Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure system reliability - Contribute to architectural decisions and mentor junior engineers What Makes You a Great Fit - 10+ years of experience in backend development with strong expertise in AWS - Hands-on experience with Node.js for building scalable backend systems - Deep understanding of cloud architecture, distributed systems, and microservices - Strong experience with AWS services and cloud infrastructure management - Expertise in API development, system integration, and performance optimization - Experience with CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker), and orchestration tools is a plus - Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to handle complex technical challenges - Ability to design secure, scalable, and maintainable systems - Excellent communication and collaboration skills - Proven ability to take ownership and deliver high-impact solutions .
