JD: Client is seeking an experienced AWS/Python Full-Stack Developer to support cloud-based quantitative research, signal generation, back-testing, data, and analytics platforms. This person will join an Agile full-stack team and work closely with developers, architects, product owners, and business partners. The role requires strong experience with Python, AWS, React, DevOps, and data engineering. Key Responsibilities * Design and develop cloud-based applications and quantitative research platforms.
Build secure, resilient, observable, and production-ready applications.
Develop backend services and data-processing solutions using Python.
Create web applications and dashboards using React or Dash.
Build and maintain data pipelines using AWS Glue, S3, PostgreSQL, and Athena.
Develop microservices and serverless applications using Lambda, SNS, SQS, and API Gateway.
Design and implement secure REST APIs.
Build and support containerized applications using Amazon ECS.
Develop proofs of concept to validate architectural patterns.
Deploy and support AWS applications in production.
Implement application monitoring and logging using CloudWatch.
Support CI/CD automation using Bamboo, Bitbucket, Artifactory, and Ansible.
Participate in Agile ceremonies, technical discussions, and knowledge-sharing sessions. Required Qualifications * Minimum 8 years of software development experience.
Strong hands-on experience with Python, AWS, React, and data engineering.
Experience with Python libraries and frameworks such as Pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn, Dash, Dask, Flask, and Boto3.
Experience with AWS services such as EC2, ECS, Lambda, CloudWatch, Step Functions, S3, Glue, SNS, SQS, API Gateway, and PostgreSQL.
Experience designing microservices and serverless applications.
Strong understanding of data architecture, ETL pipelines, and caching strategies.
Experience implementing secure APIs, session management, and authentication.
Knowledge of Okta integration.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and modern DevOps practices. **Preferred Qualifications** * Experience with Amazon SageMaker and Athena.
Knowledge of the investment-management or equities domain.
Experience supporting quantitative research or trading applications.
