Azure Active Directory Engineer

Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Active Directory / Azure AD Engineer to manage and support enterprise identity infrastructure across onpremises and cloud environments. The role focuses on directory services administration, authentication management, Single SignOn (SSO) solutions, and automation to ensure secure and efficient identity services. The candidate will work closely with infrastructure and security teams to maintain a reliable and scalable identity platform. Key Responsibilities Administer and support Active Directory infrastructure, including Domain Controllers, OU management, Group Policy (GPO), DNS, and DHCP. Manage and troubleshoot authentication mechanisms such as Kerberos, NTLM, and LDAP. Implement and support Single SignOn (SSO) solutions using ADFS, SAML, and federation technologies. Manage and maintain Azure Active Directory (Azure AD / Entra ID) services, including identity synchronization, access policies, and security configurations. Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts and automation to streamline operational tasks and improve efficiency. Manage Windows Server and Windows client operating systems within enterprise environments. Troubleshoot identity, authentication, and directoryrelated issues across onpremises and cloud platforms. Collaborate with security, infrastructure, and application teams to ensure proper identity and access management practices. Ensure adherence to security policies, access control standards, and compliance requirements. Required Skills Expert knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, and DHCP administration. Strong understanding of authentication protocols such as Kerberos, NTLM, and LDAP. Handson experience with SSO solutions including ADFS and SAML. Strong knowledge of Azure Active Directory (Azure AD / Microsoft Entra ID). Proficiency in PowerShell scripting, including AD and Azure AD cmdlets. Strong knowledge of Windows Server and Windows client operating systems. Soft Skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong problemsolving and analytical abilities. Ability to work effectively as a team player in a collaborative environment. Experience & Location 7-8 years of experience in Active Directory, Azure AD, and identity management environments.
