Azure Financial Reporting Data engineer

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL processes using Azure Data Factory and related services - Write optimized SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and reporting - Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into technical solutions - Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports for various business units - Supervise and guide a junior Power BI developer, ensuring adherence to best practices and timely delivery - Monitor data quality, integrity, and performance across systems - Implement data governance and security protocols in line with organizational standards General Accountabilities: - Observes policies, regulations, and directives for assuring safety and protection of health during work - Observes policies, regulations, and directives for quality and protection of the environment - Keeps working place and equipment in order and in line with the 5S system principles - Shows an active approach towards broadening knowledge and qualification - Follows internal guidelines of the employer and generally applicable regulations To succeed in this role, you will need: - At least 2 years of experience in a similar position within a complex multi-national organization Skills / Qualifications: - Strong proficiency in Microsoft Azure (Data Factory, Synapse, Blob Storage, etc.) - Solid experience with SQL Server and writing complex queries - Hands-on experience with Power BI, including DAX, data modeling, and dashboard creation - Ability to mentor and supervise junior team members effectively - Familiarity with version control tools (e.g., Git) and agile development practices - Excellent problem-solving and communication skills Other Skills: - Self-motivated - Team player, collaborating cross-teams - Strong attention to detail with good organizational skills.
