Infra Tech Support Practitioner Project Role : Infra Tech Support Practitioner Project Role Description : Provide L1L2 technical support for infrastructure, systems, and applications in production and development environments, both remotely and onsite, following defined operating models and processes. Act as the primary interface with users/clients to accurately diagnose issues and deliver effective resolutions across infrastructure, operating systems, networks, and application platforms, ensuring service stability and quality support. Must have skills : Microsoft Azure Windows Virtual Desktop Good to have skills : NA Minimum 5 year(s) of experience is required Educational Qualification : 15 years full time education Job Description (JD) Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) Engineer / Administrator with Nerdio Manager Job Level: 9 Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) Engineer with strong expertise in Nerdio Manager for Enterprise (NME) to design, deploy, manage, and optimize virtual desktop environments in Microsoft Azure. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with AVD infrastructure, Azure administration, automation, security, monitoring, and cost optimization using Nerdio. Key Responsibilities Azure Virtual Desktop Administration Design, deploy, configure, and manage Azure Virtual Desktop environments. Create and manage host pools, application groups, workspaces, and session hosts. Perform image management and golden image creation for AVD environments. Troubleshoot user connectivity, performance, and application-related issues. Manage FSLogix profiles and profile containers. Nerdio Manager Administration Deploy and configure Nerdio Manager for Enterprise (NME). Configure autoscaling policies to optimize Azure infrastructure costs. Automate provisioning, image updates, host deployment, and maintenance schedules. Monitor AVD resources through Nerdio dashboards and reporting tools. Manage RBAC and delegated administration through Nerdio. Azure Infrastructure Management Manage Azure networking components including VNets, NSGs, Load Balancers, VPNs, and Private Endpoints. Administer Azure Active Directory / Microsoft Entra ID integration. Configure Azure Storage Accounts, Azure Files, and Azure Key Vault. Implement high availability and disaster recovery solutions. Security & Compliance Implement Conditional Access and MFA policies. Manage endpoint security, Microsoft Defender, and compliance standards. Perform patching, vulnerability remediation, and security audits. Ensure adherence to organizational and regulatory security requirements. Automation & Monitoring Monitor environment health using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Nerdio reporting. Create operational documentation, SOPs, and architecture diagrams. Required Skills Technical Skills Strong experience with Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD). Hands-on experience with Nerdio Manager for Enterprise (NME). Microsoft Azure Administration. FSLogix profile management. Azure Networking and Security. Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD). PowerShell scripting and automation. Azure Monitor and Log Analytics. Experience 410+ years of IT infrastructure experience. 37+ years of hands-on Azure Virtual Desktop administration. Experience implementing and supporting Nerdio Manager in production environments.
