Job Summary
The Standard is seeking a Back-End Software Engineer II with expertise in Java to join our team. In this role, you will collaborate closely with Product Owners, Product Analysts, Scrum Masters, Front-End Engineers, Software Developers in Test, Data Engineers, DevOps / Site Reliability Engineers, and UX Designers to build scalable, up-to-date backend services that power enterprise-grade applications. The ideal candidate should possess strong java programming skills, REST API development experience, and familiarity with back-end technologies such as Java Spring Boot alongside solid understanding of API engineering to drive innovation and efficiency in building enterprise grade solutions. The candidate must have experience developing in Microsoft Azure with Azure-native resources.
As a Back-end Software Engineer II you will work with general instructions on routine tasks to build highly scalable and reliable REST APIs, services, and applications that deliver digital capabilities to customers. You will apply best practices such as SOLID across all stages of the software development life cycle and contribute to developing bestinclass engineering patterns and methodologies that can significantly transform business processes. In addition, you will develop and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines for application build and deployment to ensure scalability .
