About This RoleCloudNest India builds cloud infrastructure and microservices platforms for e-commerce and retail clients. The Mumbai office is looking for a Backend Developer to join a team of eight engineers working on distributed services that handle product catalog management, order processing, and customer data synchronization. The role involves designing and building Node.js microservices that process high-volume transactions reliably and with minimal latency under peak load conditions.Role ContextReporting to the Backend Engineering Lead, you will work within a containerized microservices environment using Docker and Kubernetes. The team ships daily using a CI/CD pipeline built on Jenkins and deploys to AWS infrastructure. You are expected to understand service boundaries, handle inter-service communication using REST and message queues, and write services that behave predictably at scale.
