Job Summary
Infra Technology Specialist role focused on designing implementing and optimizing hybrid infrastructure solutions across cloud platforms Windows and Linux environments and NetApp storage systems. The position supports media domain workloads ensures high availability and resilience of core services and continuously improves operational reliability for business critical applications.
Responsibilities
Design and maintain hybrid infrastructure solutions that integrate cloud environments with on premises systems to support resilient and scalable enterprise services in a hybrid work model
Administer and optimize Windows server platforms to ensure stable performance secure configuration and reliable delivery of core business applications used by diverse teams
Manage Linux server environments with attention to configuration hardening patch management and performance tuning for workloads that require high availability and predictable response times
Configure and administer NetApp storage systems including volumes snapshots and replication to deliver consistent storage performance and data protection for enterprise workloads
Implement infrastructure automation scripts and reusable configurations that streamline provisioning of cloud and on premises resources while reducing manual errors and delivery time
Monitor system capacity and performance across servers storage and cloud components and recommend targeted improvements that prevent bottlenecks and align with growth forecasts
Troubleshoot complex infrastructure incidents across Windows Linux NetApp and cloud layers and drive timely resolution that restores service levels and minimizes business disruption
Collaborate with application and media domain teams to understand workload patterns and translate them into infrastructure designs that support content delivery processing and archival needs
Develop and maintain detailed technical documentation for infrastructure standards runbooks and configuration baselines that enable consistent operations across day shift teams
Apply security and compliance guidelines across operating systems cloud services and storage platforms to safeguard sensitive information and reduce operational risk for the organization
Coordinate and execute backup recovery and disaster readiness procedures using NetApp capabilities and cloud services to protect critical data and ensure continuity of business operations
Participate in capacity and lifecycle planning for servers storage and cloud services by analyzing usage trends and proposing upgrade or optimization roadmaps that control cost and improve efficiency
Engage in continuous improvement initiatives by reviewing incident patterns and implementing infrastructure changes that increase stability and enhance the experience of internal and external users
Provide operational support aligned to a day shift schedule for hybrid work model staff while ensuring effective handover and status communication to globally distributed colleagues
Qualifications
Bring strong hands on experience with cloud fundamentals including virtual networks compute instances storage services and identity integration in at least one major cloud platform
Demonstrate advanced Windows server administration capability including Active Directory group policy patching fundamentals and experience with clustering or high availability approaches
Show solid Linux administration expertise covering shell usage service management log analysis package management and performance troubleshooting in production environments
Offer proven NetApp storage administration skills including storage provisioning snapshot strategy replication configuration and basic performance analysis for enterprise storage arrays
Apply foundational networking understanding related to IP addressing routing firewall rules and load balancing sufficient to support troubleshooting across hybrid infrastructures
Utilize experience with scripting or automation approaches such as PowerShell or shell scripting to simplify routine tasks and standardize infrastructure changes across environments
Leverage prior exposure to media industry workflows or content management platforms as a nice to have capability that helps align infrastructure solutions with media specific performance needs
Communicate technical concepts and incident status clearly to technical and non technical partners in a gender neutral and inclusive manner that supports transparent collaboration .
