A Bancassurance Manager drives insurance product sales (life/health) through banking partner branches, focusing on achieving sales targets, training bank staff, and managing relationships. They are responsible for driving lead generation from bank customers, conducting joint sales calls, and ensuring regulatory compliance. Key Responsibilities Sales Target Achievement: Meet or exceed monthly/annual sales targets for insurance products within assigned bank branches. Relationship Management: Build strong relationships with bank branch managers, key stakeholders, and staff to drive partnership business. Lead Generation & Conversion: Generate leads through bank walk-in customers and employee referrals, and convert them through joint sales calls. Training & Mentoring: Train bank staff on insurance products, sales techniques, and regulatory updates. Compliance: Ensure all sales activities are compliant with regulatory requirements and internal company policies. Performance Monitoring: Monitor branch performance and report key sales metrics. Key Qualifications & Skills Experience: Generally 1-6 years of experience in bancassurance, sales, or the BFSI (Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance) sector. Education: Bachelors degree in a related field. Skills: Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills. Product Knowledge: Strong understanding of life/health insurance products and banking processes. .
