Role Summary
In response to strategic growth and evolving project requirements, our Client is seeking a skilled BI Engineer on a 12-month contract basis. Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain robust Business Intelligence solutions to support organisational decision-making.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into effective data models and visualisations.Implement and optimise data pipelines, ensuring data quality and integrity across platforms.Utilise tools such as Power BI and Databricks to develop insightful dashboards and reports.Engage in data modelling and data engineering tasks to enhance the organisation's analytics capabilities.Troubleshoot and resolve data and reporting issues promptly to minimise disruption.Document processes and solutions to promote transparency and facilitate future enhancements.
Essential Skills & Experience
Proven experience in Business Intelligence, Data Modelling, or Data Engineering roles, ideally as a BI Developer, BI Engineer, or Analytics Engineer.Strong proficiency with Power BI and Databricks or similar big data platforms.Hands-on experience in designing and implementing data pipelines and data warehousing solutions.Excellent understanding of data structures, SQL, and data transformation techniques.Effective communication skills, capable of working collaboratively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Desirable Skills & Experience
Familiarity with other BI and analytics tools or cloud platforms.Experience working within a fast-paced, agile environment.Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python or Scala.Previous exposure to enterprise-level data projects or regulatory compliance standards.
