01Overview
A Billing Engineer is responsible for preparing, managing, and verifying all project-related bills and quantities during the execution of a construction or engineering project. Role & responsibilities :Audit of running account (RA) bills/Final Bills paid to contractors/vendorsAudit of advances paid to the contractors/vendorsChecking the quantities as per drawings and bills prepared by site engineersKnowledge of AutoCAD requiredAudit of monthly reconciliation statements for all materials and preparing theoretical consumption statement and recovery of the sameAudit of DPR, Labour Bills & Must roll and their paymentsAudit of Pour Cards / other records of execution of workWorking out input of items & Labor CostAudit for Vendors Liabilities against the supplied material through software/ManuallyAudit of a Ready Mix Concrete (RMC) plant for the purpose of quality assurance, structural integrity and consumption including checking & comparing with theoretical quantities used at siteBudget Estimation & ForecastPreparing SOPs / Method statement for various activities Rate analysis and cost estimation and maintaining BOQs (Bill of Quantities).Coordinating with site engineers, procurement, and accounts.Ensuring compliance with contract terms and technical specifications.Documentation and record-keeping for audits.Desired profile:-Strong knowledge of construction drawings, BOQ, and measurement techniquesProficiency in Excel, AutoCAD, MS Project/Primavera (sometimes)Understanding of contracts and project managementMathematical accuracy and attention to detail .
