Naara Kia Motors is seeking an experienced, dynamic, and customer-focused Body Shop Advisor to manage end-to-end service interactions in our body shop. The ideal candidate will serve as the primary link between customers, insurance surveyors, and our technical workshop team, ensuring high-quality repairs, timely delivery, and exceptional customer satisfaction.Key Responsibilities
- Customer Relations: Serve as the main point of contact for customers, handling inquiries, explaining repair scopes, insurance procedures, and providing regular updates on vehicle status and delivery commitments.
- Estimation & Documentation: Prepare accurate, detailed repair estimates using OEM guidelines and ensure all repair orders are documented thoroughly.
- Insurance Coordination: Actively liaise with insurance surveyors to facilitate vehicle inspections, secure timely claim approvals, process supplementary estimates, and ensure seamless claim settlements.
- Workshop Coordination: Work closely with the workshop floor team and Parts Department to monitor workflow, ensure the timely availability of spare parts, and maximize bay utilization.
- Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough post-repair quality inspections to ensure all work meets Naara Kia and OEM safety and technical standards before vehicle delivery.
- Problem Solving: Efficiently resolve customer complaints or concerns, implementing corrective actions to maintain high levels of trust and service retention.
Qualifications & Skills
- Experience: Proven experience (minimum 35 years) in automotive Bodyshop operations, preferably with passenger vehicle dealerships.
- Technical Knowledge: Solid understanding of vehicle body repair processes, painting, and accident estimation.
- Insurance Expertise: Hands-on experience with motor insurance claim processing, surveyor coordination, and documentation.
- Soft Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Kannada and English; ability to handle stressful situations professionally.
- Education: Diploma or Degree in Automobile or Mechanical Engineering preferred.
- Administrative Ability: Proficiency in MS Office and dealership management software.
