Bookkeeper (Full-Time, Office-Based Chennai) Location: Cove Offices, Nungambakkam
Salary: 3,00,000 4,20,000 per annum (based on experience)
Mode: Full-time | Work-from-office only

We are looking for a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our growing team in Chennai. In this role, you will be part of our Chennai-based outsourcing team, working closely with our UK counterparts to deliver high-quality financial support. Youll handle daily bookkeeping functions, support monthly reporting, and communicate with UK clientsall while being trained on UK accounting systems and expectations.
Maintain accurate financial records and prepare reports
Perform daily bookkeeping: bank reconciliations, A/P, A/R, and payroll support
Record journal entries and ensure compliance with UK accounting standards
Assist in monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial closings
Use cloud-based accounting software like Xero and QuickBooks
Maintain organized digital records and uphold internal process standards
13 years of experience in bookkeeping and financial reporting
~ Strong knowledge of accounting principles and journal entries
~ Hands-on experience with accounting software (Xero, QuickBooks preferred)
~ Excellent communication skills in English (verbal & written)
~ Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
~ CA Inter / ACCA / CPA certification is a plus
