Receive and assist customer
walk -ins at the branch for gold loan inquiries and applications
Conduct gold purity assessment and
assaying using fire assay, karat meter, and acid testing methods
Evaluate gold ornaments for
weight, purity, and applicable loan -to -value (LTV) as per RBI guidelines
Process loan applications routed
to the branch by Loan Managers (LMs), ensuring end -to -end documentation and
disbursement
Verify customer KYC documents and
maintain compliance with internal and regulatory norms
Coordinate with LMs and branch
operations for smooth loan processing and turnaround
Ensure accurate gold storage,
tagging, and custodianship as per SOPs
Maintain zero deviation from audit
and compliance requirements during all gold handling activities
Deliver superior customer
experience at the branch, ensuring resolution of queries and concerns
Requirements
1 to 3 years of experience in gold loan
operations at a bank, NBFC, or gold loan company
Hands -on experience in gold
assaying fire assays, karat meter testing, and acid testing
Prior experience working in a
branch model (not DSA/field sales)
Knowledge of RBI LTV norms,
KYC/AML compliance, and gold loan documentation
Ability to handle branch -level
loan processing independently
