Branch Manager - Direct Channel (Life Insurance )

Salary - upto 8lpa 2-4yrs expereince . Role Description The Branch Manager Direct Channel (Life Insurance) is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru. This role is responsible for overseeing branch operations, driving sales of life insurance products through direct channels, and ensuring excellent customer service to walk-in and referred clients. The Branch Manager will lead and guide the branch team, set targets, monitor performance, and ensure adherence to regulatory and company guidelines. Daily activities include planning and executing sales campaigns, coordinating with underwriting and customer support teams, managing policy documentation, and tracking branch revenue and profitability. The role also involves building relationships with local customers and partners, implementing process improvements, and reporting performance metrics to senior leadership. Qualifications Ability to manage branch operations, including sales planning, team supervision, and performance tracking.Experience in life insurance or financial services sales, with knowledge of direct channel distribution and customer acquisition.Strong customer service and relationship-management skills, with the ability to handle queries and resolve issues professionally.Competence in using basic office software, maintaining reports, and working with digital tools for policy and customer data.Leadership skills, including coaching, motivation, and conflict resolution, with a focus on ethical and compliant practices.Bachelors degree in business, finance, marketing, or a related field; relevant certifications in insurance are an advantage.Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; knowledge of local languages in Bengaluru is beneficial.Prior experience in a branch management or team lead role is preferred, particularly in insurance or financial products. .
