Branch Manager (Shimla)

Role & responsibilities: 1) Responsible for driving branch-level sales growth and expanding product distribution reach in line with the defined sales strategy. The role focuses on ensuring the achievement of sales targets across key distribution channels, while enhancing market penetration and channel productivity. Through effective execution and channel management, the role contributes to the overall objective of building a high-performing and productive at the Branch. 2) Accountable for delivering branch-level topline growth, profitability, and overall financial performance by effectively managing revenue, margins, and cost budgets. 3) Ensure an optimal Line of Business (LOB) mix and balanced geographical coverage across branches and spokes to maximize market reach and business potential. 4) Drive financial discipline, operational efficiency, and productivity improvements to enhance branch performance and achieve sustainable business outcomes. 5) Lead, mentor, and develop team members by providing continuous coaching, performance feedback, and training interventions to enhance their capabilities, drive performance excellence, and prepare them for higher responsibilities while supporting their career aspirations. Preferred candidate profile: - Candidates with a solid background in General Insurance Sales, particularly in Retail Distribution, with proven experience in managing and leading sales teams, will be preferred. - Preference will be given to local candidates who possess a deep understanding of the market dynamics and have prior experience working within the same or a similar geography/location. .
