POSITION DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES The Brand & Design Manager serves as the creative guardian of AISC's visual identity and digital presence. This role combines strategic brand management with hands-on design expertise to ensure consistent, compelling visual communications across all channels. The manager oversees end-to-end brand implementation while serving as the single point of contact for website management and digital design initiatives.
The Brand & Design Manager ensures AISC's brand maturity through comprehensive visual storytelling that aligns with the school's core values and strategic objectives. This role directly impacts brand recognition, user experience, and the school's professional presentation to all stakeholders.
Duties and responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to:
Brand Management, Stewardship, & Strategy
Develop and maintain comprehensive brand guidelines ensuring consistency across all touchpoints
Ensure brand consistency across all materials and channels
Conduct regular brand audits and provide recommendations for enhancement
Lead brand education and training to staff and stakeholders
Develop brand education materials and modules
Monitor brand application and provide corrective guidance
Collaborate on brand evolution and enhancement initiatives
Monitor competitive landscape and industry design trends
Digital & Web Design:
Serve as Website Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for website relaunch, and all updates and maintenance
Ensure our web presence is aligned with brand standards
Create compelling digital content for social media, email campaigns, and online platforms
Optimize user experience across digital touchpoints
Implement SEO best practices and accessibility standards
Manage website analytics and performance optimization
Ensure web accessibility and mobile responsiveness
Graphic Design & Print Materials:
Design high-quality marketing materials, publications, and promotional content
Create yearbook layouts and handbook designs
Lead yearbook design and production coordination
Create event materials, signage, and environmental graphics
Develop printed materials for events and communications
Manage vendor relationships for printing and production services
Maintain comprehensive digital asset library and brand resource center aligned with the AISC Core and our Strategy
KEY DELIVERABLES
Updated AISC Brand Guidelines and Style Manual
Website relaunch outcomes, maintenance and enhancement schedule
Digital design templates and asset libraries
Print material design and production coordination
Brand compliance audits and recommendations
QUALIFICATIONS AND PROFILE
Education & Experience
Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Brand Management, Digital Media, or related field
Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in brand management and graphic design
Demonstrated expertise in educational or non-profit brand development
Portfolio showcasing strategic brand work and design excellence
Technical Expertise
Design Proficiency: Expert-level skills in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects)
Web Management: Advanced experience with CMS platforms, HTML/CSS, and responsive design principles
Brand Strategy: Proven ability to develop and implement comprehensive brand guidelines
Project Management: Experience coordinating multiple design projects and vendor relationships
Digital Marketing: Understanding of social media design, email marketing, and d .
