Job Title:BRE (Business Rules Engine) Manual Tester

Job Description
We are looking for an experienced BRE (Business Rules Engine) Manual Tester with solid experience in manual testing and business rule validation. The ideal candidate should have experience in Banking, Financial Services, or Lending domain and be capable of validating complex business rules, decision tables, and workflows.
Key Responsibilities
Analyze Business Requirement Documents (BRD), Functional Requirement Documents (FRD), and business rules.
Design and execute test cases for Business Rules Engine (BRE) applications.
Validate business rules, decision tables, and workflows.
Perform Functional, Integration, System, Regression, and UAT Testing.
Identify, log, track, and retest defects using Jira or similar defect management tools.
Validate rule changes to ensure they do not impact existing functionality.
Coordinate with Business Analysts, Developers, and Business Users for requirement clarification.
Prepare test reports and maintain testing documentation.
Required Skills
3+ years of Manual Testing experience.
Hands-on experience in BRE (Business Rules Engine) Testing.
Solid understanding of SDLC & STLC.
Experience in Business Rule Validation and Decision Table Testing.
Knowledge of SQL for data validation.
Positive analytical and communication skills.
Preferred Skills
Banking, NBFC, Lending, LOS/LMS domain experience.
Exposure to BRE tools such as FICO Blaze Advisor, Drools, Experian PowerCurve, IBM ODM, or Pega Decisioning.
API Testing using Postman is an added advantage.
