Build & Deployment Engineer

Key Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines for continuous integration, build automation, artifact management, and deployment across development, staging, and production environments
- Manage and optimize build systems including compilation, dependency resolution, static code analysis, unit test execution, artifact packaging, and build artifact versioning
- Develop and maintain deployment automation scripts and frameworks for reliable, repeatable, and zero-downtime application deployments across cloud and on-premise environments
- Configure and manage artifact repositories and package management platforms such as JFrog Artifactory, Nexus Repository, or similar for storing and versioning build artifacts
- Collaborate with development, QA, release management, and infrastructure teams to streamline build and deployment workflows and reduce deployment lead times
- Implement and enforce build and deployment quality gates including code coverage thresholds, static analysis checks, security scanning, and compliance validations within CI/CD pipelines
- Manage containerized application builds and deployments using Docker and Kubernetes across cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
- Monitor build and deployment pipeline health, execution times, failure rates, and resource utilization and proactively identify and resolve bottlenecks and failures
- Develop and maintain comprehensive build and deployment documentation including pipeline architecture diagrams, runbooks, and operational guides
- Drive continuous improvement of build and deployment automation practices to improve engineering velocity, deployment reliability, and release frequency
