Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst Insurance Domain with strong expertise in Commercial Insurance and Reinsurance. The candidate will be responsible for gathering and analyzing business requirements, documenting functional specifications, and working closely with business stakeholders and technical teams to deliver effective solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Gather, analyze, and document business requirements from stakeholders.
Work closely with business teams to understand Commercial Insurance and Reinsurance processes.
Translate business requirements into BRDs, FRDs, user stories, and functional specifications.
Analyze existing business processes and identify opportunities for improvement.
Prepare process flows, business rules, and requirement documentation.
Coordinate with Development, QA, Product, and other technical teams for successful solution delivery.
Support UAT, requirement traceability, defect clarification, and project documentation.
Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and stakeholder discussions.
Ensure requirements are clearly understood and aligned with business objectives.
Required Skills
712 years of experience as a Business Analyst.
Strong hands-on experience in the Insurance domain.
Mandatory experience in Commercial Insurance and Reinsurance.
Strong understanding of insurance business processes, workflows, and terminology.
Experience in requirement gathering, business process analysis, and functional documentation.
Strong experience preparing BRD, FRD, User Stories, Use Cases, and Process Flows.
Experience working with business stakeholders and technical teams.
Good understanding of UAT and requirement traceability.
Strong communication, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.
Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Educational Qualification
MBA Mandatory
Preference for candidates with an Insurance / Finance / Business-related specialization. .
