Business Analyst Data Governance- BCBS - 239 (Mumbai)

We are seeking a detail-oriented and driven Business Analyst Data Governance to join our Data & Analytics Group (DAG) at Wissen Technology. The ideal candidate will play a key role in implementing data governance practices aligned with BCBS 239 requirements and enhancing data quality across investment management platforms. Experience: 3-10 Years Location: Mumbai Key Responsibilities - Review, analyze, and resolve data quality issues within Investment Management (IM) data architecture. - Support implementation of data governance frameworks, particularly in line with BCBS 239 standards. - Coordinate data onboarding from internal and external sources into central repositories. - Collaborate with data owners to define data quality rules; work with IT to strengthen data quality controls. - Analyze business processes and data flows to identify areas for re-engineering and efficiency gains. - Engage with stakeholders to prioritize and address data-related business needs. - Document functional and business requirements for data-related initiatives. - Support change management and participate in UAT activities. - Identify and escalate data issues promptly. - Contribute to broader initiatives under the Data & Analytics Group (DAG). Required Skills: - Strong ability to work with business and technical teams to understand data flows and usage. - Proficient in data analysis and tracing data lineage. - Experience working in cross-functional and virtual team environments. - Independent thinker with strong team collaboration skills. - Effective problem-solver and self-starter with multitasking capabilities. - Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills. Key Qualifications: - In-depth domain knowledge of investment banking and financial services data. - 310 years of experience in financial services, especially investment management. - Strong SQL skills for data profiling and analysis. - Familiarity with coding (Python preferred). - Experience with BI tools such as Tableau and Power BI is preferred.
