01Key Responsibilities
Identifying and analyzing business requirements, problems, and prospects related to mandatory settlement.
Developing and documenting business and functional requirements for current processes and systems.
Collaborating with various stakeholders, including front office, operations, risk, finance, legal, and compliance.
Analyzing current and future state business processes, identifying gaps, and designing solutions.
Creating detailed requirements specifications, use cases, and other relevant documentation.
Designing and executing test plans to ensure solutions meet requirements.
Performing data analysis to support decision-making and identify areas for improvement.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a related field (finance, economics, or computer science).
Min. 5 years of experience in Settlements as Operations Specialist or Business Analyst.
Familiarity with various types of U.S. Treasury securities and their characteristics.
Familiarity with SEC regulations and industry standards related to Treasury securities.
Deep understanding of the SEC's mandate for mandatory clearing and settlement of U.S. Treasury securities.
Understanding of how CCPs operate and their role in clearing and settlement.
Understanding of securities settlement processes and the role of different stakeholders.
Ability to understand customer business processes and requirements and translate into functional requirements across a wide array of market treasury products and technologies.
Experience of working with multiple system partners, Control teams, development, and support teams.
Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, and presentation of complex information and data) in presenting to partner teams and senior managers.
Ability to draft Use Cases, Process Flows, and Activity Diagrams, specific to banking Architecture.
Ability to track multiple issues, effectively manage time and competing priorities to drive results.
Exposure to agile methodologies. .
