Business Analyst (Insurance Brokerage)

As a Business Analyst with five or more years of experience, you will be responsible for the following key tasks: - Championing the use of metrics and other objective measures by teams - Implementing agile techniques in different work cultures and environments - Leading, educating, and coaching team members - Facilitating learning and development among employees through individual and team coaching - Communicating agile principles, scrum practices, and the overall operating model across the organization - Holding standup meetings with cross-functional teams to review project status - Supporting teams in determining resource allocations to maintain agile practices and ensure smooth project delivery - Conducting data analysis and providing insights to support decision-making - Collaborating with stakeholders to prioritize and manage project tasks and deliverables Qualifications required for this role include: - Certification as an agile coach or scrum master - Strong Insurance Domain Knowledge - Experience working on software development projects - Background in ADO, Azure DevOps, and Confluence - Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks and priorities - Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills Additionally, you should possess the following soft skills: - Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels - Proficiency in English, both written and spoken This role offers the opportunity to work closely with different stakeholders to understand business requirements, translate them into functional specifications, and track them with ADO and Confluence. You will also be responsible for facilitating meetings, workshops, and discussions to gather requirements, validate designs, and address any concerns or issues. Moreover, creating and maintaining project documentation, defining and documenting business processes, wireframes, and workflows, as well as supporting the testing team by providing guidance on test scenarios and participating in test case reviews and defect triage sessions are key responsibilities of this role.
