As a Business Controls Officer at Barclays, you will play a crucial role in spearheading the evolution of the digital landscape, driving innovation, and ensuring unparalleled customer experiences. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Utilizing cutting-edge technology to revolutionize digital offerings
- Demonstrating a solid understanding of Markets Front Office Business and experience with Equities and Prime businesses
- Having an in-depth understanding of control frameworks, RCSA, and governance processes
- Collaborating with various stakeholders to improve overall control effectiveness through detailed documentation of control assessments, procedures, and findings
- Identifying and investigating potential weaknesses within internal controls to promote continuous improvement and risk mitigation
- Developing reports to communicate key findings from risk assessments and recommendations to control owners, senior management, and stakeholders
- Executing reviews to determine the effectiveness of the banks' internal controls framework aligned with established policies, regulations, and best practices
- Implementing adherence to the Barclays Controls Framework and setting an appropriate methodology for assessing controls
To be successful in this role, you should have the following qualifications:
- Solid understanding of Markets Front Office Business
- Experience with Equities and Prime businesses, including related products
- In-depth understanding of control frameworks, RCSA, and governance processes
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
Desirable skillsets or good-to-have qualifications include:
- Automation excellence
- Contribution to/leadership of strategic projects
This role will be based out of Pune.
