About the Role
We are looking for an energetic and result-oriented Business Development Executive to identify and onboard businesses that want to sell their products on international eCommerce platforms such as Amazon, Etsy, and eBay.
The role involves meeting potential sellers, understanding their business, explaining the onboarding process, and helping them complete the required documentation and registration.
This is a field sales and business development role that requires regular client meetings and follow-ups.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and approach potential sellers such as manufacturers, retailers, wholesalers, exporters, and D2C brands.
- Generate new business leads through market visits, cold calling, references, and other sources.
- Conduct meetings and field visits with potential clients.
- Understand the client's business and explain how they can start selling on international eCommerce platforms.
- Explain the seller onboarding process for platforms such as Amazon, Etsy, and eBay.
- Guide clients regarding basic requirements such as product listings, pricing, catalog details, and order processing.
- Help clients complete the required registration, KYC, and documentation process.
- Coordinate with internal teams for KYC, onboarding, and account activation.
- Follow up with clients until their onboarding process is completed successfully.
- Build and maintain good relationships with newly onboarded sellers.
- Achieve monthly and quarterly onboarding and business targets.
- Maintain regular records of leads, meetings, follow-ups, and onboarding status.
Required Skills
- Good communication and presentation skills.
- Experience in Business Development, B2B Sales, Field Sales, or Client Acquisition.
- Good follow-up and relationship management skills.
- Ability to meet and convince business owners and decision-makers.
- Basic understanding of eCommerce platforms such as Amazon, Etsy, or eBay will be an advantage.
- Experience in seller onboarding, fintech, payments, export/import, or B2B services will be preferred.
- Target-oriented and comfortable with field visits.
