About the Role
We are looking for Business Development professionals with experience in Gas Steel Gaskets / Gas Industry / Oil & Gas Industry to drive business growth through lead generation, customer acquisition and relationship management.
The ideal candidate should have good knowledge of tendering processes, strong business development skills and the ability to identify and convert new business opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate new business opportunities through lead generation, market mapping and customer acquisition.
- Identify and develop relationships with potential customers in the Gas, Oil & Gas, Industrial and related sectors.
- Handle tender identification, tender participation and tender documentation.
- Develop a strong understanding of customer requirements and provide suitable product/solution proposals.
- Follow up on enquiries, quotations, tenders and commercial negotiations to achieve business targets.
- Build and maintain relationships with existing and prospective clients.
- Coordinate with internal teams for technical quotations, costing, commercial proposals and order execution.
- Track market developments, competitor activities and new business opportunities.
- Maintain a healthy sales pipeline and provide regular updates on leads, opportunities and closures.
- Achieve assigned business development and revenue targets.
Candidate Profile
- 2+ years of experience in Business Development / Sales / Marketing.
- Candidates from Gas Steel Gaskets, Gas Industry, Oil & Gas Industry, Industrial Products, Engineering Products or related sectors will be preferred.
- Good knowledge of tendering and tender processes is mandatory/preferred.
- Experience in B2B sales and institutional/industrial customer handling.
- Strong lead generation and client acquisition skills.
- Good communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
- Ability to independently identify prospects and convert leads into business.
- Willingness to travel for client meetings and business development activities, as required.
