Key Responsibilities
- Business Development
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in supply chain finance.
- Develop and execute strategies to expand client base across industries.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with corporates, suppliers, and financial institutions.
- Client Engagement
- Understand client needs and design tailored supply chain finance solutions.
- Conduct presentations, negotiations, and deal closures with key stakeholders.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
- Market & Product Strategy
- Analyze market trends, competitor offerings, and regulatory changes.
- Collaborate with product teams to enhance supply chain finance solutions.
- Provide insights to management on emerging opportunities and risks.
- Partnerships & Alliances
- Establish partnerships with banks, fintechs, and technology providers.
- Drive ecosystem collaboration to strengthen supply chain finance offerings.
- Performance & Reporting
- Achieve revenue and growth targets.
- Prepare regular reports on business development activities, pipeline, and performance metrics.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelors/Masters degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or related field.
- 5-10 years of experience in business development, corporate banking, trade finance, or supply chain finance.
- Strong understanding of working capital management, trade finance instruments, and supply chain processes.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
- Analytical mindset with ability to identify opportunities and mitigate risks.
- Proven track record of achieving sales and revenue targets.
Preferred Experience
- Exposure to fintech-driven supply chain finance platforms.
- Experience working with SMEs, corporates, and multinational organizations.
- Familiarity with digital trade finance solutions and regulatory frameworks.
