01Key Responsibilities
Data Analysis & Insights: Analyze trading activity across equity and fixed-income markets to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities. Prepare detailed reports on trading performance, market behavior, and execution costs. Dashboard Development: Design and maintain dynamic dashboards to visualize trading metrics, market data, and portfolio performance. Ensure dashboards provide real-time, actionable insights tailored to the needs of traders and portfolio managers. Ad-Hoc Analysis: Conduct ad-hoc data analysis to address specific queries from traders and portfolio managers. Provide quick and accurate data-driven answers to support decision-making. Collaboration & Communication: Work closely with traders, portfolio managers, and IT teams to understand business needs and translate them into technical solutions. Communicate findings effectively through visualizations and presentations. Data Management: Ensure data integrity and accuracy by implementing robust data quality checks. Partner with technology teams to optimize data pipelines and storage for analytics purposes. Qualifications: 1-3 years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or a related role within financial services, particularly in trading or investment management. Bachelor s degree in finance, economics, data science, computer science, or a related field. Advanced degrees are a plus. Proficiency in data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or equivalent. Strong SQL skills and experience working with relational databases. Familiarity with programming languages such as Python or R for data analysis. Knowledge of trading and investment principles, with a strong understanding of equity and fixed-income markets.
