To further power our growth, we are shifting toward a data-driven retail culture and are looking for a visionary BI Leader to transform our raw enterprise data into strategic execution.
Role Overview The Analytics & Insights Specialist will act as the bridge between the Power BI reporting team and management decisionmaking. This role is responsible for interpreting data, identifying trends, generating insights, and recommending actionable strategies that support business growth and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities - Data Interpretation Analyse Power BI dashboards, reports, and datasets to extract meaningful insights.
Business Insights Translate raw data into clear business recommendations for management.Trend Analysis Identify patterns, anomalies, and emerging trends across business functions.Decision Support Prepare insight-driven presentations to guide leadership decisions.Performance Monitoring Track KPIs and highlight areas requiring attention or improvement.Cross-functional Collaboration Work closely with the Power BI team, operations, finance, and management.Root Cause Analysis Investigate underlying reasons for performance deviations.Forecasting & Modelling Use historical data to project future performance and risks.Insight Documentation Maintain structured reports, summaries, and dashboards for leadership.Strategic Recommendations Suggest actionable steps based on data findings.
Required Skills & Competencies - Strong analytical and criticalthinking skills
Proficiency in reading and interpreting Power BI dashboardsGood understanding of business KPIs and operational metricsAbility to convert data into clear narratives and recommendationsExcellent communication and presentation skillsKnowledge of Excel, SQL, or other analytical tools (added advantage)Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities Qualifications - Master's or Bachelors degree in Business Analytics, Statistics, Finance, or related field7 to 10 years of experience in data analysis, business insights, or reportingExperience working with BI tools (Power BI preferred) Reporting Structure - Reports to: Senior ManagementWorks closely with: Power BI Development Team, Operations, Finance, ERP tech & Functional team Ideal Candidate Profile Someone who:Understands business operationsCan convert numbers into storiesHelps management make informed, datadriven decisionsActs as the decision intelligence layer above the reporting team .
