As a Business Support Specialist at State Street, you will play a crucial role in supporting international teams in using SimCorp Dimension and optimizing investment MiddleOffice processes across the global business. Your responsibilities will include:
- Ensuring and supporting the smooth and efficient use of the Middle Office system, SimCorp Dimension (SCD), which is the backbone of the investment operations.
- Acting as the first point of contact for colleagues across APAC and EMEA regarding SimCorp-related inquiries and business support requests.
- Collaborating with internal departments to optimize workflows and shape future processes by contributing to tool development, data validation, and automation to ensure data integrity and process efficiency.
- Contributing to cross-team projects and continuous improvement initiatives within the investment operations landscape.
To succeed in this role, the following skills will be valuable:
- Completion of vocational training in banking or a related field, or holding a degree in business, IT, or finance.
- Solid understanding of investment processes in a capital management context.
- Tech-savvy nature and enjoyment in learning new systems and tools (SimCorp knowledge is advantageous but not mandatory).
- Problem-solving abilities and effective communication of solutions in a clear and structured manner.
- Curiosity, proactiveness, and a desire to make a difference in a supportive team environment.
Education & Preferred Qualifications:
- Graduate and above in Finance, preferably with a degree such as B.COM, BBM/BBA, MBA (Finance), M.COM, or any related to Finance or Commerce.
- Minimum of 3-4 years of related experience.
