01Key Responsibilities
- Serves as a key liaison between internal teams, external stakeholders, and customers to ensure seamless execution of data privacy rights.
- Analyze current business processes and systems in the Privacy area, identifying areas for improvement and recommending solutions for enhanced efficiency and effectiveness.
- Develop and document detailed business requirements for engineers to design, develop, and implement solutions that align with privacy regulations and company policies.
- Proactively identify blockers and independently drive resolution across teams, escalating decisively when needed to ensure timely outcomes.
- Support the restructuring of business systems to optimize output efficiency and ensure compliance with global privacy standards.
- Track open items to closure, proactively following up with stakeholders and flagging risks early.
- Raise issues and escalate to relevant stakeholders or leadership with a clear, solution-focused mindset.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Business Systems Analyst or similar role, with a strong focus on privacy and data rights.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to review and interpret data to drive informed decisions.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively interact with and provide constructive feedback to individuals at all levels of employment.
- Proficiency in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets) and familiarity with collaboration and tracking tools such as JIRA, Confluence, and Slack.
- Able to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a dynamic, matrixed environment, navigating ambiguity, influencing without authority, and escalating effectively when needed.
- Working knowledge of privacy regulations (CCPA/CPRA, GDPR) and data subject rights such as access and deletion is strongly preferred.
- Comfortable leveraging AI tools to automate repetitive, high-volume tasks (e.g., status tracking, document review, routine communications), with a willingness to explore and adopt emerging AI tools to streamline privacy and compliance workflows.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or related field.
- Previous experience in privacy, data protection, or a related field is highly desirable. .
