About the roleThe Capex Accountant will oversee the organizations capital and operational expenditure budgets while developing and maintaining a Management Information System (MIS) for Capex activities. This position requires solid financial management expertise and an understanding of the renewable energy sector.Key responsibilitiesDevelop, monitor, and control the annual Capex budget, aligning investments with strategic goals.Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to identify capital needs and review project proposals, financial justifications, and feasibility studies.Track and report Capex spending, providing regular updates to senior management.Assist in Opex budget planning, conduct variance analysis, and recommend costoptimization measures.Design, develop, and maintain a comprehensive Capex MIS, generating reports and dashboards for project status and financial performance.Work with IT to ensure data integrity, system reliability, and explore automation opportunities.Perform financial analysis (ROI, payback period) and prepare forecasts, presentations, and recommendations for investment decisions.Ensure compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and accounting standards; identify and mitigate financial and operational risks.Required profile24 years of postqualification experience.Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification is mandatory.Strong understanding of financial management, budgeting, and renewable energy industry dynamics.Required skills .
