About the Role
We are looking for an Analyst / Associate Cash & Margin Operations to join our Global Markets Operations team. The role involves managing cash and margin-related activities for Futures, Options, Commodities and other Exchange-Traded Derivatives (ETDs).
The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in margin calls, cash management, settlements, reconciliation and derivatives operations.
Key Responsibilities
Process and monitor client margin calls within required cut-off times.
Perform margin and interest calculations and account balancing.
Manage cash movements and wire transfer processing.
Handle cash and non-cash collateral settlements.
Perform securities inventory and cash reconciliation.
Investigate and resolve Nostro breaks and settlement discrepancies.
Support clearing and settlement activities for Futures, Options and other ETD products.
Interpret and process relevant SWIFT messages.
Respond to client and internal stakeholder queries related to cash, margin and settlements.
Prepare KPI/MIS reports and trend analysis.
Support regulatory reviews, audits and operational controls.
Identify process risks and contribute to process improvements.
Prepare SOPs and support knowledge transfer/cross-training within the team.
Required Skills
25 years of experience in Cash & Margin Operations, Derivatives Operations, Clearing or related Investment Banking Operations.
Hands-on experience with margin calls and cash management.
Basic to good knowledge of Futures, Options and Exchange-Traded Derivatives.
Understanding of clearing and settlement processes.
Ability to work effectively in rotational shifts.
Candidates from Investment Banking Operations, Global Markets Operations, Derivatives Operations, Cash & Margin Operations, Clearing Operations, Collateral Operations or Securities Operations with relevant derivatives exposure are encouraged to apply.
