We are looking for a agile and detail-oriented Chartered Accountant (Fresher) to join our Finance & Accounts team. This role will provide an opportunity to gain hands-on exposure to accounting, taxation, financial reporting, compliance, MIS, audit, and financial operations within a growing business environment.
Job Summary
The selected candidate will support the Finance & Accounts function and work closely with senior management and cross-functional teams. The role is ideal for a CA Fresher who wants to build strong practical experience across financial accounting, taxation, statutory compliance, reporting, budgeting, audit, and business finance.
Key ResponsibilitiesFinancial Accounting & Reporting
- Assist in maintaining and reviewing books of accounts and financial records.
- Review accounting entries, ledgers, reconciliations, and supporting documentation.
- Assist in preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Perform bank, vendor, customer, and general ledger reconciliations.
- Identify accounting discrepancies and coordinate for timely resolution.
- Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
Taxation & Statutory Compliance
- Assist with GST, TDS, income tax, and other applicable statutory compliances.
- Support preparation and review of GST and TDS workings and returns.
- Assist in tax reconciliations and documentation.
- Coordinate with external consultants and tax professionals whenever required.
- Keep track of statutory due dates and ensure timely compliance.
Audit & Controls
- Coordinate with internal and external auditors for required information and documentation.
- Prepare audit schedules and supporting documents.
- Assist in implementing and monitoring internal financial controls.
- Identify process gaps and suggest improvements in finance and accounting processes.
MIS & Management Reporting
- Prepare periodic MIS reports for management review.
- Assist in preparing variance analysis against budgets and actual performance.
- Generate financial and operational reports as required by management.
- Analyze financial data and highlight key observations and trends.
Budgeting & Financial Analysis
- Support annual budgeting and forecasting activities.
- Assist in project-wise and business-wise financial analysis.
- Monitor expenses against approved budgets.
- Support management in financial planning and decision-making through relevant analysis.
Business & Project Finance Support
- Assist in monitoring project-related financial transactions and expenses.
- Review project budgets, expenses, and financial commitments.
- Support cash-flow monitoring and working-capital management.
- Work with business and operations teams to understand financial implications of various activities.
Required Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of Accounting, Auditing, Taxation, GST, TDS, and Financial Reporting.
- Good understanding of Indian Accounting Standards / applicable financial reporting requirements.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good command of MS Excel and familiarity with accounting/ERP software.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- High level of integrity and confidentiality.
- Commercial awareness and willingness to understand the business beyond accounting.
Preferred
- CA Fresher who has completed articleship with exposure to taxation, audit, accounting, or corporate finance.
- Candidates with exposure to real estate, construction, hospitality, or project-based businesses will be preferred.
- Knowledge of ERP systems such as Tally or other accounting software will be an advantage.
