Overview
As a Senior Leader in a leading Insurance Organization, you will be responsible for:
- Security Strategy Development
- Risk Assessment and Management
- Security Policy and Compliance
- Incident Response and Management
- Security Monitoring and Incident Detection
- Vendor and Third-Party Risk Management
- Security Awareness and Training
- Governance, oversight, and controls
The successful applicant for this role should possess the following qualifications and experience:
- Significant knowledge and experience on data protection and security issues in the health-care and insurance industry
- Highly commercial and business aware with the ability to place privacy and data protection issues in a wider commercial and regulatory context
- Minimum of 10 to 15 years of experience in risk management, information security, and IT roles
- Knowledge of information security management frameworks such as ISO/IEC 27001 and NIST
- Innovative thinking and leadership skills to lead cross-functional teams
- Experience in applying regulatory knowledge to new products and services
- Technical knowledge in privacy-engineering techniques, data security, encryption, big data, profiling, etc.
- Experience with Cloud computing/Elastic computing in virtualized environments
- Specific experience in Agile software development or other best-in-class development practices
