Claim Officer

Key Responsibilities Register and process Motor OD claims in the claims management system.Verify policy coverage, claim eligibility, and claim documents.Scrutinize survey reports, repair estimates, invoices, and supporting documents.Coordinate with surveyors, garages, customers, and internal teams for claim resolution.Process cashless and reimbursement claims within defined TAT.Ensure compliance with IRDAI guidelines and company claim procedures.Monitor pending claims and follow up for missing documents or reports.Detect discrepancies, suspicious claims, and potential fraud indicators.Update claim status and maintain accurate records in the claims system.Ensure quality and accuracy of claim approvals and settlements.Handle customer and dealer queries related to claim processing.Prepare MIS reports and support claim audits.Required Qualifications Graduate from B.Tech (Automobile/Mechanical preferred)1-5 years of experience in Motor OD Claims (Back Office preferred).Knowledge of motor insurance policies and claim procedures.Good understanding of repair estimates, survey reports, and claim documentation.Key Skills Motor OD Claims ProcessingPolicy InterpretationClaims InvestigationDocumentation & VerificationAnalytical SkillsMS Excel and Computer ProficiencyCommunication & CoordinationTime ManagementAttention to DetailCustomer Service Orientation .
