About the Role Our client, a respected insurance provider operating in **Delhi**, is seeking a diligent and customer-focused Claims Adjuster to manage property damage claims. This is an on-site position requiring you to be present in the office and field. You will be responsible for investigating insurance claims, determining liability, negotiating settlements, and ensuring prompt and fair resolution for policyholders. Key Responsibilities Investigate insurance claims promptly and thoroughly, including site inspections and evidence gathering. Determine coverage eligibility based on policy terms and conditions. Interview claimants, witnesses, and relevant parties to gather information. Assess the extent of property damage and estimate repair or replacement costs. Negotiate settlements with claimants and/or their representatives. Prepare detailed reports documenting findings, evaluations, and recommendations. Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company procedures. Manage a caseload of claims efficiently, prioritizing urgency and complexity. Requirements High school diploma or equivalent; a Bachelor's degree is preferred. Minimum of 3 years of experience as a claims adjuster, specifically with property damage. Strong understanding of property insurance policies and claims handling procedures. Excellent investigative, negotiation, and conflict-resolution skills. Proficiency in claims management software and standard office tools. Valid driver's license and ability to travel to claim sites. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
