Position SummaryThe Senior Analyst Claims Adjusting will be part of the Claims Vertical, responsible for executing allocated marine claims as per company standards. This includes investigation, evaluation, documentation, and resolution of claims while ensuring compliance with relevant maritime laws and internal policies. The role involves collaboration with global teams and promoting a customer-centric culture.
Key ResponsibilitiesInvestigate marine incidents (e.g., cargo damage, collisions)Assess damage and estimate repair or replacement costsMaintain documentation for all claim activitiesCommunicate with internal and external stakeholdersEnsure compliance with maritime laws and internal service standardsSupport audit readiness and risk mitigationRequired QualificationsMinimum Education: Bachelors degreePreferred: Degree in insurance or a related fieldCertifications: AIC, AINS, Cert CII, or any insurance industry certificationsExperience: 23 years in insurance claims handlingProven track record in claim resolution and customer satisfactionStrong knowledge of insurance regulations, policies, and claims proceduresCore CompetenciesTechnical: Insurance regulations, claims processing, risk management, maritime law
