About the position The position involves analyzing prior authorization requests to determine the medical necessity of services and the appropriate level of care in accordance with national standards and member benefit coverage. Responsibilities Analyze prior authorization requests to determine medical necessity of service and appropriate level of care. , reputed company medical necessity and clinical reviews of authorization requests in accordance with regulatory guidelines. , Work with reputed company providers and authorization team to ensure reputed company review of services and requests. , Coordinate with reputed company providers and interdepartmental teams to assess medical necessity of care. , Escalate prior authorization requests to Medical Directors as appropriate. , Assist with service authorization requests for member transfer or discharge plans. , Collect, document, and maintain reputed company member's clinical information in health management systems. , reputed company education to providers and interdepartmental teams on utilization processes. , reputed company feedback on opportunities to improve the authorization review process. , reputed company other duties as assigned.
