Your day at NTT DATA As a Cloud Managed Services Engineer (L3) at NTT DATA, you'll play a key role in providing top-tier managed services to our clients. You will be responsible for proactively identifying and resolving cloud-based incidents and problems. By leveraging your deep technical expertise, you'll ensure our clients experience minimal disruptions and maximum efficiency. Your day will involve configuring, installing, testing, and managing client infrastructure to ensure it is always operational. You will conduct necessary checks, apply monitoring tools, and respond to alerts, ensuring that problems are identified and logged promptly. Your role includes investigating third-line support calls, identifying the root cause of issues, providing on-site technical support, and collaborating with third-party vendors when necessary. Additionally, you will perform random reviews of incidents and service requests monthly, analyze them, and recommend ways to improve quality. As part of your daily responsibilities, you will continuously provide feedback to clients, updating all necessary systems and portals. You will also proactively identify opportunities for work optimization, including automation. When required, you may manage and implement projects within your technology domain, ensuring you meet client requirements and timelines effectively. Lastly, your role may include implementing and delivering disaster recovery functions and tests to ensure DATA protection and business continuity. To thrive in this role, you need to have: Experience 6 to 10 Years Job Summary We are looking for an experienced Cloud & Virtualization Engineer with strong expertise in VMware infrastructure, Windows Server administration, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) . The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing enterprise virtualization environments, cloud infrastructure, storage, backup solutions, server administration, automation, monitoring, and migration projects while ensuring high availability, security, and operational excellence. Key Responsibilities Virtualization & Infrastructure Management Manage and administer VMware/Hyper-V environments. Configure, monitor, and troubleshoot VMware technologies including: vSphere vSAN NSX vROps VMware Automation Infrastructure Install, configure, and maintain physical and virtual servers. Handle infrastructure services such as: Active Directory (AD) DNS DHCP ADFS File Services Manage Windows Clusters and high-availability solutions. Perform preventive maintenance and capacity planning. Cloud Administration (AWS/Azure) Design, deploy, and manage cloud-based solutions on AWS and/or Azure. Implement and support scalable, secure, and highly available cloud infrastructures. Work with AWS services including: EC2 ELB RDS S3 Lambda Auto Scaling Security Groups Experience with Azure cloud services and cloud migration projects. Implement cost optimization and performance improvement strategies. Design and manage disaster recovery and backup solutions. Storage & Backup Management Manage enterprise storage environments. Create and delete LUNs. Handle share folder creation and permissions management. Manage file servers and storage infrastructure. Administer enterprise backup and recovery solutions. Monitoring & Automation Configure and manage monitoring tools such as: CloudWatch ELK Stack Prometheus Other infrastructure monitoring tools Automate deployment and operational processes. Utilize scripting and automation tools to improve efficiency. Perform system health checks and generate operational reports. Incident, Change & Service Management Troubleshoot critical/high-severity incidents and perform root cause analysis (RCA). Ensure adherence to SLA/SOW commitments. Participate in change management activities, including risk and impact assessment. Handle technical escalations and coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and third-party support teams. Maintain infrastructure as per standard operating procedures (SOPs). Project & Client Management Support migration projects and cloud transformation initiatives. Prepare design documents, architecture blueprints, and technical reports. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements. Provide cloud support and infrastructure recommendations to clients. Participate in project planning, implementation, and post-deployment support. Team Leadership Mentor and guide L1/L2 engineers.
