Cloud Engineer - Data Platform group

As a Cloud Engineer in the Data Platform team at Fidelity International, you will be responsible for developing cloud solutions for the company's data lake platform utilizing Snowflake technology. Your role will involve a combination of technical development work and support tasks to ensure the best service for customers. Additionally, you will work on streamlining processes and implementing self-service options while maintaining security, high availability, and compliance with policies in a regulated environment. Your key responsibilities will include: - Working with the Snowflake cloud data platform for at least 2 years - Implementing simple and effective cloud and/or database solutions - Demonstrating practical working knowledge of fundamental AWS concepts like IAM, networking, security, compute (Lambda, EC2), S3, SQS/SNS, and scheduling tools - Proficiency in Python, BOTO, and SQL programming (Java Script knowledge is a bonus) - Experience in delivering change through CI/CD, ideally using Terraform - Collaborating effectively with team members, sharing knowledge, and interacting with individuals from other departments - Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English - Maintaining a strong customer focus About Fidelity International: Fidelity International has been dedicated to helping clients build better financial futures for over 50 years.
