Key Responsibilities
- Lead the credit evaluation process for personal loan applications
- Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory standards
- Manage and mentor a team of credit managers and analysts
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and high performance within the team
- Develop and enforce credit policies in alignment with industry best practices and regulatory requirements
- Monitor and manage the credit portfolio, analyzing trends and implementing strategies to mitigate risks and reduce delinquencies
- Work closely with business development, operations, and product teams to align credit strategies with business objectives
- Maintain team productivity by setting a goal of processing a minimum of 10 files per day per Credit Manager
- Ensure audit readiness and provide regular reports on credit performance and portfolio health
- Manage TAT (Turnaround Time) specified as per the business requirement, with a specific focus on meeting E2E TAT within 4 days
Qualifications Required
- Strong background in credit underwriting and risk assessment
- Experience in team leadership and management
- Knowledge of KYC compliance and credit policies
- Ability to analyze credit portfolios and implement risk mitigation strategies
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities
