CMS Developer

Key Responsibilities:
- Architect, design, develop, and maintain complex CMS-based web solutions across multiple platforms including WordPress, Drupal, Joomla, Contentful, Strapi, or similar CMS frameworks
- Lead custom theme and plugin development, module development, and CMS core customizations for complex enterprise and high-traffic digital publishing requirements
- Design and implement headless and decoupled CMS architectures integrating CMS platforms with modern frontend frameworks such as React, Next.js, Vue.js, or Angular via REST or GraphQL APIs
- Define and enforce CMS development standards, coding best practices, performance optimization guidelines, and security hardening protocols across the development team
- Lead technical architecture reviews, code reviews, and platform evaluation exercises for CMS selection and migration decisions
- Manage and execute CMS platform migrations, version upgrades, and multisite implementations for large-scale enterprise web properties
- Integrate CMS platforms with third-party systems including CRM, ERP, marketing automation, analytics, CDN, and e-commerce platforms through APIs and custom connectors
- Optimize CMS platform performance including page load speed, database query optimization, caching strategies, and CDN configuration for high-traffic websites
- Ensure CMS implementations comply with web security standards including OWASP guidelines, data privacy regulations, and enterprise security policies
- Mentor and guide junior and mid-level CMS developers on platform best practices, architecture decisions, and development standards
