Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Collections Officer role based in Pali. The Collections Officer is responsible for following up with customers regarding overdue accounts, negotiating payment plans, and ensuring timely recovery of outstanding dues in line with company policies and regulatory guidelines. Daily tasks include contacting customers via phone and in person, maintaining accurate records of conversations and commitments, and coordinating with the finance and operations teams to update account status. The role involves analyzing customer repayment capacity, addressing concerns with professionalism, and escalating complex cases when necessary. The Collections Officer is expected to uphold strong customer service standards while meeting collection targets and minimizing default risk.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Debt Collection skills, including experience in recovering overdue payments and negotiating repayment arrangements.Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills and a basic understanding of Finance to assess account status, evaluate repayment capacity, and interpret relevant data.Candidates should possess excellent Communication and Customer Service skills to engage with customers respectfully, explain account details clearly, and resolve issues effectively.Candidates should ideally have prior experience in financial services, banking, or NBFC environments, especially in collections or credit control functions.Candidates should have proficiency in using spreadsheets or collection management software, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work with targets and deadlines.Candidates should have at least a high school diploma; a bachelors degree in finance, commerce, business, or a related field is an advantage.Candidates should be comfortable working on-site in Pali and traveling locally as required for field collections. .
