Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Collections Representative based in Mumbai. The Collections Representative will contact customers with overdue accounts via phone and other approved channels, explain outstanding balances, and negotiate repayment arrangements in line with company policies. The role includes updating account information, documenting all interactions accurately, and escalating complex cases when necessary. The Collections Representative will collaborate with internal teams to resolve discrepancies, follow compliance and privacy guidelines, and meet individual and team collection targets. The position requires maintaining a professional, courteous approach while handling high-volume calls and managing sensitive financial conversations.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong skills in Debt Collection and Cash Collection.Candidates should possess excellent Communication and Customer Service skills.Candidates should possess a solid understanding of Finance and basic accounting concepts.Candidates should be proficient in using CRM or collection software and basic MS Office tools.Candidates should demonstrate negotiation skills, problem-solving ability, and attention to detail.Candidates should be comfortable working in a target-driven environment and managing high call volumes.Prior experience in collections, banking, NBFCs, or BPO voice processes related to finance is an advantage.A minimum of a high school diploma; a degree in commerce, finance, or business is preferred. .
