Brown & Brown is seeking a Commercial Lines Marketing Assistant to join our growing team in Syracuse, NY. The Marketing Assistant will assist the marketing, sales and/or service team(s) with new business and renewal marketing, including related activities of the commercial lines department in accordance with agency goals and established policies.ResponsibilitiesAssist in obtaining client information necessary for new or renewal marketing and track submissions to the marketplaceRate new policies and complete applications and other required documentationPrepare proposals and coordinate the layout of the proposal and presentation with producers/service representativesDocument all marketing activity in the agency management system AMS360 & ImageRightAdherence to the established marketing guidelines set by Marketing LeaderPrepare invoices, applications and other required documentation to bind accountsTransition bound accounts to the assigned Service Representative and Department Leader with appropriate communication with Marketing LeaderEnsure that systems, procedures, and insurance company regulations are adhered to by the department and alert management should any problems ariseMaintain an up-to-date marketing summary for marketersTop Gun data entry and reportingSkillsProperty & Casualty Agent's License, or willing to obtainHigh School Diploma or equivalentProficient in software programs including Microsoft Office Suite, and carrier/company specific applicationsWorking technical knowledge of coverage in commercial lines insurance coverageBenefitsMedical/Rx, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Disability InsuranceESPP; 401k; Student Loan Assistance; Tuition ReimbursementFree Mental Health & Enhanced Advocacy ServicesPaid Time Off, Holidays, Preferred Partner Discounts and more.Company OverviewBrown & Brown delivers risk management solutions to help protect and preserve what our customers value most.
