Corporate Accounting - Team Lead

Maxim Global Accounting is seeking an experienced Corporate Accounting Team Lead to lead accounting operations for US based clients and ensure accurate financial reporting. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills, exceptional analytical abilities, and experience managing accounting teams in a corporate environment. Key Responsibilities Oversee day-to-day corporate accounting operations and ensure timely, accurate financial reporting.Lead the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes.Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with applicable accounting standards.Manage general ledger activities, account reconciliations, and journal entries.Supervise, mentor, and develop the accounting team.Identify process improvement opportunities and strengthen internal controls.Partner with cross-functional teams to support financial planning, audits, and business initiatives.Analyze complex accounting issues and provide practical, data-driven solutions.Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.Required Qualifications Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA/CMA preferred).6+ years of progressive corporate accounting experience.2+ years of experience in an Accounting Manager or similar leadership role.Strong critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills.Mandatory Hands-on experience with Oracle NetSuite.Excellent communication and team management skills.Problem Solving Skills.Preferred Qualifications Experience with Concur and Stampli is a plus.Experience working in a fast-paced, multi-entity corporate environment.Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools.Compensation: 1,500,000.00 - 1,800,000.00 per year Experience: Netsuite : 5 years (Required)Work Location: Remote .
