About the roleKPMGs Corporate Intelligence team within the Forensic practice is seeking a proactive analyst to support clients in identifying and mitigating fraud, misconduct, and strategic risks. The role involves conducting indepth research across public and proprietary sources to deliver actionable intelligence that informs business decisions.Key responsibilitiesConduct primary and secondary research using public domain sources, subscription databases, regulatory publications, company filings, media outlets and specialized intelligence platforms.Produce corporate, market, geopolitical, reputational and strategic intelligence across multiple industries and jurisdictions.Gather, validate and analyse information to pinpoint risks, opportunities and emerging trends.Perform stakeholder interviews, industry outreach and other primary research as required.Support assignments such as geopolitical risk assessments, marketentry evaluations, business partner assessments and strategic due diligence.Monitor political, regulatory, economic and security developments that could affect client operations.Prepare concise, highquality intelligence reports, presentations and clientready deliverables.Engage with clients and internal teams to understand project requirements and communicate findings.Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting quality standards and deadlines.Required profileExcellent written and verbal communication skills with confidence in client interactions.Strong interpersonal abilities and capacity to build rapport with diverse stakeholders.Proven ability to synthesize large volumes of information into clear, actionable insights.Analytical thinking, critical reasoning and problemsolving capabilities.High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.Research expertise with experience in identifying and evaluating credible sources.Ability to work in a dynamic environment with shifting priorities and tight deadlines.Professional maturity, discretion and handling of sensitive, confidential information.Selfdriven, intellectually curious and eager to stay current with global events and industry trends.Required skillsAdvanced research techniques using public domain and proprietary intelligence platforms.Data validation and analysis to identify red flags, reputational concerns and strategic risks.Preparation of structured intelligence reports and presentations.Stakeholder interview and outreach capabilities.Monitoring of geopolitical, regulatory and economic developments. .
