Corporate Sales - Jewellers Block & Specie

MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS Must be from the Insurance Broking industryMust have exposure in Jeweller's Block (JB) & Specie insurance portfolioProven track record of new client acquisition and revenue generation.Minimum 3 years of experience. ABOUT THE CLIENT Our client is a composite insurance and reinsurance broking company and has built a strong presence, particularly in the commercial lines and species space. JOB ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES Identify and acquire new business opportunities within the jewellery, bullion, diamond, luxury retail, logistics, and high-value asset sectors.Develop and manage relationships with jewellers, bullion traders, diamond merchants, luxury retailers, banks, vault operators, cash management companies, and logistics providers.Conduct client meetings to understand business operations, risk exposures, and insurance requirements.Design comprehensive insurance solutions under Jeweller's Block and Specie policies, including transit, storage, exhibition, cash-in-safe, cash-in-transit, and other specialized coverages.Prepare and present insurance proposals, quotations, coverage comparisons, and renewal strategies.Coordinate with insurance companies for risk assessment, underwriting discussions, pricing negotiations, and policy placement.Work closely with surveyors, risk engineers, and underwriters to ensure appropriate risk evaluation and optimal coverage.Ensure timely policy issuance, endorsements, renewals, and servicing of client accounts.Build long-term client relationships to maximize retention, cross-selling, and upselling opportunities.Monitor market trends, competitor offerings, and emerging risks within the jewellery and precious commodities industry.Collaborate with internal servicing, claims, and placement teams to ensure seamless customer experience.Support clients during claims by coordinating with insurers, surveyors, and internal claims specialists.Achieve assigned premium, revenue, and profitability targets while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction. QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE Graduate / Post Graduate in any disciplineProfessional certifications such as IRDAI licensing, Associate/Fellow of the Insurance Institute of India (III), CII (UK), or AIRM are an added advantage.
