Track and review standard costs for labor, materials, and overhead rates
Perform monthly variance analysis comparing actual costs to standard production costs
Oversee inventory valuation, cycle counts, and year-end physical inventory audits
Prepare financial reports detailing product margins and operational profitability
Systems and Compliance
Develop, implement, and maintain cost accounting systems, policies, and internal controls
Manage the month-end close process, including journal entries and account reconciliations
Ensure compliance with regulatory standards like GAAP or SOX requirements
Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation and data analysis
Strategy and Leadership
Lead, mentor, and supervise the cost accounting staff
Collaborate with operations and procurement teams to identify waste and drive cost-saving initiatives
Assist executive leadership with annual budgeting, forecasting, and pricing strategies
Compensation: 1,000,000.00 - 1,200,000.00 per year
